Erm. I goofed. (+ new photo account)

So I had an awesome thing planned out for the big Christmas present that I was going to draw for my friends this year and then I went and looked at it today to work on it and frankly, it sucks.

No, I'm serious. The linearts that I did are all horrible and sloppy and because I didn't use any refs for the poses, they look lame too. And I was going to have all the OCs going up to a Christmas tree but when I tried to draw the tree it was major fail.
So I say all this because I'm starting over completely and I WILL GET IT DONE IN TIME.

But unfortunately I'm putting my comic on hold. Yeah. At least until I get things like school, my biathlon training and helping my mom under control. Oh, and my job.

And I have officially created a photography account! It's at ~Sleepwalkings and it looks very lonely right now because I haven't gotten around to uploading any photos yet. I will very soon though! So stay tuned.

Oh and one more thing - all the snow melted! *headdesk* Yeah, last week it rained. RAINED. IN DECEMBER. I'm shocked. So. Now I'm really singing "White Christmas".

I love White Christmas. Who wouldn't? I mean, sure, it gets a little long when you've seen it several times and all the dances seem to go on for hours. But still. I watched it last holiday season and then again last week and for some reason I can't get over how much I love that movie.

So, if you haven't watched it yet this year then Jade orders you to watch it NOW!!!

LOL sorry for the random journal title...just popped into my head so I had to write it of course.

So, since everyone else is doing it...or quite a few people who I watch anyway, I'm gonna post my wishlist. x)

- Gift art is LOVED

And it doesn't have to be just a drawing, I like avatars and other stuff too.

- A subscription would be cool

- For everyone in my family or who I know to get better! If you're a praying sort of person, I'd really appreciate if you would pray. Here's a sort of summary:
My dad's knee - he had surgery but it still hurts him and now he might need new hips, eventually.
My aunt has 3 different kinds of blood cancer - she's not old either, only about 45 or so.
My mom has really bad arthritis and has for the past 3 years and it hurts me to see her hobbling around now.

I've been meaning to get myself a pair but I just haven't gotten around to it. *pokes parents*
- More snow. Can't have too much of it.

So, there you have it. x) And as far as art goes, I really apologize about not having page 4 of my comic done. Really. I just forget and forget and put it off and ugh. It'll either be here by New Years or during Thanksgiving, I promise.

Other than that the only art I know that I'll upload for sure between now and Christmas is my ESS gift and...*drumroll* a surprise!

What Happens When ________?

EDIT: It's over, we're all fine here...how are you?

Sorry it took me so long to update this journal. So. Now. ON TO THE ARTZ

There's a major storm warning for where I live...they're talking about evacuation for people who live on lower ground. Our town is basically on a little spit between the ocean on one side and a river on the other, so any high water means someone gets hit.

I'm not worried about my family really - we live on the second floor of our building and on the higher end of town so we'll be safe from the water. Just if the power goes out, we could get a little cold if it stays out for long. The thing I'm most worried about is my birdies, because they're so little and fragile and I don't want them to get hurt.

But anyway, I mainly wanted to let you all know that if I do disappear for a little while, that's why - the power went out. So yup.
